A Flowery Branch man is accused of striking a woman and fracturing her face, according to Hall County authorities.

Timothy Brad Bingham, 22, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery. He was booked into the Hall County Jail Thursday where he remains.

Hall County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded Aug. 8 to the 6200 block of Malibu Ridge, where Bingham lived. Mary Ladd was visiting with Bingham’s girlfriend, according to her statements to authorities.

Ladd and Bingham got into an argument and Bingham allegedly struck Ladd “in the face and kicked her out of the residence,” Hall County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Deputy Nicole Bailes wrote in an email.

Ladd called 911 at the property until authorities and a medical unit arrived, Bailes wrote.

“Ladd was transported to the Northeast Georgia Medical Center where it was determined that she had received a fracture to her face as a result of Bingham striking her,” Bailes wrote.

Investigators sought arrest warrants for Bingham on Aug. 26.
