Athens Street to close at railroad crossing

Athens Street at the railroad crossing will be closed from Monday to Aug. 1 in Gainesville, the city has announced. The closing, which is scheduled to start at 7 a.m., is to allow Norfolk Southern Railroad to replace tracks. For more information, contact Norfolk Southern Railroad at 770-534-7802.
