After two years of taking college-level, International Baccalaureate courses in high school, Ariana Cervantes is looking forward to spending a little time outside of the classroom. Cervantes, a senior at Johnson High School, intends to delay college for at least the next year while she helps people around the country. She is joining AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps for 10 months after she graduates.
