An Alto man is charged with aggravated assault related to a New Year’s Eve incident involving shooting at a Lula man’s car on Ga. Highway 365. Victor Lamar Scott, 51, is accused of shooting at the 2002 Toyota Tundra operated by Stephen Stanfill, 49, around 2 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office report. Scott is accused of discharging “a firearm from inside his vehicle at (Stanfill’s) vehicle, striking it in the left front fender,” according to the arrest warrant.
