A manufacturing facility in Gainesville for pharmaceutical company Alkermes is being sold by the Ireland-based company. Alkermes made the announcement Monday that pharmaceutical company Recro Pharma Inc. of Pennsylvania is buying the facility at 1300 Gould Drive. Alkermes has operated the facility since a merger with Elan Drug Technologies in 2011.
