Northeast Georgia Medical Center Auxiliary will host two seminars this month aimed at joint health and preventing falls.

The Getting Older and Better Workshops are planned for 9:30 a.m. Sept. 16 and Sept. 23.

The Sept. 16 workshop will be at the First Baptist Church Banquet Hall at 751 Green St. in Gainesville. The Sept. 23 event will be at the NGMC Braselton Education Center at 1400 River Place in Braselton.

Both events will feature several orthopedic surgeons and other experts as guest speakers.

Doors open at 8:30 a.m. Registration is required, and space is limited. The cost is $5 and includes lunch and a complimentary gift. Door prizes will also be given away.
