A Gainesville man accused by authorities of running over a man twice with a van had his case moved on to Superior Court Monday.

Jonathan Michael Holtz, 45, appeared Monday in Magistrate Court to answer to charges of aggravated assault and aggravated battery. He was charged by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office of allegedly running over Stephen Hill twice with a Chrysler Town and Country van on Feb. 4.

The victim suffered a broken hip, broken femur, a compound fracture on his lower leg and a broken ankle, according to the warrants.

Holtz had no hired counsel present for the committal hearing, and the hearing was waived.
