The Hall County Sheriff’s Office put out a notice Thursday afternoon for a missing Gainesville man.

Alva Daniel Hand, 77, was last seen Wednesday at 5115 Deer Path Lane in Gainesville.

Hand is a white man standing 6 feet tall and weighing 220 pounds. He has brown eyes and is bald.

When last seen, Hand was wearing tan pants and a blue short-sleeve polo shirt with a flannel long-sleeve shirt on top of it. He was also in a 1996 Toyota Tacoma.

Hand has onset dementia, as well as other medical issues that require daily medication, according to the sheriff’s office notice.
