One person was wounded and five people arrested Friday night in Clermont after what the Hall County Sheriff’s Office is describing as a minor dispute that escalated into a shooting. The man who was shot, Joshua Smith, 20, of Commerce was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with nonlife-threatening wounds, sheriff’s office spokesman Sgt. Stephen Wilbanks reported Saturday. Smith was treated for a minor gunshot injury and released later in the evening, Wilbanks said.
