Gainesville police have charged four people, including three children, in the Saturday burglary of a Laura Drive home.
Robert Darrel Davis, 18, of Gainesville and three juveniles, ages 11, 12 and 14, have been charged with burglary, said Gainesville police Lt. Carol Martin.
Police responded to a call at 11:36 a.m. at the home.
The homeowner arrived to find a male suspect in the house.
Upon seeing that he had been spotted, the suspect ran out the back door, Martin said.
Police found the four suspects near the victim’s home. Jewelry, which had been taken from the home, was later recovered.
