Three Gainesville men have been charged with the Tuesday burglary of an East Hall home.

The Hall County Sheriff's Office has charged Jeshaiah Hernandez, 18, Rene Torres, 19, and Conley Virgos, 18.

The men are accused of breaking into a home in the 3000 block of Thorn Bush Drive off Gaines Mill Road.

The sheriff's office got a call at 1:30 p.m. that a burglary was happening at the home.

Witnesses said three men fled the house just before officers arrived. Neighbors described the vehicle and told officers which way the suspects fled, sheriff's spokesman Col. Jeff Strickland said.

A short time later, a deputy spotted the vehicle on East Hall Road and began a traffic stop.

The vehicle's occupants stopped the car, then got out and ran into a wooded area.

Sheriff's K-9 units were called in to track the suspects, who were caught a short time later in the immediate area, Strickland said.

Investigators responded to the scene and recovered property that had been taken from the house, including televisions and other electronics valued at about $4,000.

All the items were returned to the owners.

The three men are being held without bond in the Hall County Jail, Strickland said.
