New Hall County fire fighter Hank Tiller carries his recruiting class’ flag home after graduation ceremonies Friday night at Chestatee High School. “We had to carry it for 16 weeks,” Tiller said. “And try to keep it out of other people’s hands. Anybody and everybody who is a Hall County fire fighter would try to steal it and we’d have to earn it back.” - photo by NAT GURLEY

After 16 weeks of school, recruits from Hall County Fire Service recruit class No. 37 were graduated at Chestatee High School theater in front of department brass and enough family and friends to nearly fill the room.
