After a week and a half of assessments, area elementary and middle school students can breathe easy. The first round of Georgia Milestones ended Thursday, and officials from both Hall County and Gainesville City school systems felt the tests went well, with one slight hiccup. “Actually it has gone smoothly for us, with the exception of the one glitch that happened last week,” said Eloise Barron, assistant superintendent for teaching and learning for Hall County Schools.
