A 15-year-old Gainesville boy died Thursday night after the car he was riding in traveled off the road and struck a tree, Georgia State Patrol said. Alfredo Juarez died Thursday night after a crash on Atlanta Highway near Chicopee Baptist Church as the passenger in a 1998 Honda Civic headed northbound. Georgia State Patrol said the driver Marco A. Cruz, 19, of Gainesville lost control of the vehicle and traveled off the right side of the road.
