Two convertibles were stolen from a dealership in Gainesville after the suspects climbed a fence and stole the keys, according to authorities. One of the vehicles has been recovered.

The suspects took the cars Oct. 24 from Global Auto Imports on West End Avenue in Gainesville.

The two cars stolen were a black 2006 Porsche Boxster convertible and a blue 2002 BMW 330Ci convertible.

“They climbed a fence and forced open the rear door to the business, where they stole the keys to the vehicle,” Hall County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Stephen Wilbanks said. “They then used a GMC Acadia on the lot to drive through the gate, before leaving it and driving away in the Porsche and the BMW.”

Wilbanks said the Porsche was found Saturday night in Oakwood, and the car is being processed. The BMW has not been found.

“All we have on the suspects right now are that they appear to be Hispanic males,” Wilbanks said.
