Mary and Marshall Yeomans

Miss Mary Allyson Wright and Mr. Marshall Glenn Yeomans were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. July 19, 2008, at First United Methodist Church in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stephen Wright Sr. of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Michael Allen of Ludowici and Mr. Marshall Glenn Yeomans Sr. of Jesup.

The Rev. Terry Eugene Walton performed the ceremony. Organist Mr. David Keith Jefcoat, vocalists Mrs. Michelle Turner Alexander and Mr. James Ronald Bracewell Jr. and trumpeter Mr. Gregory Martin Holland presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her parents. The bride's cousin Mrs. Julie Campbell Gheesling of Cheyenne, Wyo., was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Mrs. Diane Andrews Allen, Miss Brittany Lynn Barrett and Miss Tiffany Leigha Barrett, all of Gainesville; the bride's cousins Miss Elizabeth Anne Houston and Miss Mary Katherine Houston, both of Dalton; the bride's friends Miss Ashlie Lynn Hill of Buford, Miss Callie Marie Hutchins of Gainesville, Mrs. Stephanie Sainz Lindamood of Statesboro, and Miss Lauren Katherine Moore and Miss Lindsey Brooke Scarborough, both of Atlanta; and the bride's cousin Miss Evelyn Nicole Veasey of Cumming. The groom's niece Miss Riley Autum Parker of Ludowici and the groom's cousin Miss Presley Sommer Smith of Jesup were the flower girls. Honorary attendants were Miss Ashlee Alison Dunckel, Miss Melissa Joy Nash, Miss Megan Wynne Edens and Miss Whitney Lauren Willey.

The groom's father was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's friends Mr. Gregory Allen Brown of Valdosta, Mr. Emmet Clinton Davis of Augusta, Mr. Jerry Jason Farmer, Mr. Kasey Tyler Harrison, and Mr. Kevin Ashley Harrison, all of Statesboro; the groom's brother Mr. Gregory Dean Rogers of Ludowici; the groom's friends Mr. Robert Clearance Skipper of Ludowici, Mr. Joey Michael Smith of Hagan, Mr. Chad Colby Grogan of Bainbridge, Mr. Terry Joshua Wheeler of Hinesville; and the bride's brother Mr. Robert Stephen Wright Jr. of Gainesville. The groom's nephew Master Ethan Gregory Rogers of Ludowici was the ring bearer. Ushers were Mr. Tyler Michael Allen, Mr. Jason Garrick Blizzard, Mr. James Burtz Campbell Jr. and Mr. Derek Scott Sills.

Mr. William Christopher Davidson was the wedding coordinator and Mrs. James S. Huey was the wedding hostess.

The bride carried a Bible that was given to her by her paternal grandmother when she was born and a handkerchief given to her by her parents. The garter she wore and the ring bearer's pillow were made from the lace of her mother's wedding veil.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at the Brenau Amphitheatre in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at the Smithgall Arts Center in Gainesville following the ceremony.

Following a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple reside in Statesboro.
