Samantha and Jordan Dunagan

Samantha Rene Womack and Jordan Griffin Dunagan were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Aug. 23, 2008, at Air Line Baptist Church in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Darryl and Beverly Womack of Lula. The groom is the son of Cheryl Dunagan of Gillsville and the late Steve Dunagan.

The Rev. Darryl Womack and the Rev. Jim Sneed performed the ceremony. Pianist Steve Webb and vocalists Shannon Reeves and Clay Marchbanks presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her parents. The bride's sister Sabrina Bond of Lula was matron of honor. The bride's sister Sylvia Womack of Lula was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the groom's sister Jennifer Griffin of Gillsville; the bride's cousins Vanessa Higdon of Franklin, N.C., and Katherine Womack of Asheville, N.C.; and the bride's friends Rebecca Smith of Oakwood and Holly Little of Maysville. The groom's nieces Abby and Emma Griffin and the bride's friend Ella Little, all of Gillsville, were the flower girls.

The groom's brother-in-law Randy Griffin of Gillsville was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's friends Ashley Little of Maysville, Josh and Robbie Buffington, Daniel Hicks and Rodney Broom, all of Gillsville; and the bride's brother-in-law Michael Bond of Lula. The groom's nephew Will Griffin of Gillsville was the ring bearer.

Vickie Allen was the wedding coordinator. Ashley Davis and Gabby Sanchez kept the bride's book.

The groom's mother gave a rehearsal dinner at Luna's Restaurant in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at the Georgia Mountains Center in Gainesville following the ceremony.

Following a wedding trip to Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, the couple reside in Gainesville.
