Brooke Williams and Chris Young were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Nov. 3, 2012, at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Sumter, S.C. The bride is the daughter of Frank Williams Jr. and Thoma Williams of Sumter, S.C. The groom is the son of Rogers Young of Lithonia and Birdie Young of Montgomery, Ala.
The Rev. Robert Bailey performed the ceremony. Kemper Ackerman and Brothers of Harmony presented a program of wedding music.
The bride was presented in marriage by her father and brothers. The bride’s friends Crystal Harvin of Rock Hill, S.C., and Melinda McGhanney of Sumter, S.C., served as matrons of honor. The bride’s friend Debra Goodwin of Eastover, S.C. was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s friends Sharisse Lee of Eastover, S.C. and Crystal Willis of Atlanta, and the bride’s cousins Tiffany Williams of Berlin, N.J., and Brianna Hamblin of Stafford, Va.
The groom’s friend Channing Moss of Norcross was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s cousin Keiton Moore of Cordova, Tenn., the groom’s friend Leland Williams of Norcross, and the bride’s brothers Frank Williams III of Sumter, S.C., and Wesley Williams of Columbia, S.C. Ushers were Antuian Parker, Akeem Jackson, Raymond McGee II, Michael McGee and Brandon Hamblin.
Carrie Hampton and Shirley Lowery were the wedding coordinators. Ronda Butler, Kimberly Graham, Brittany James and Jennifer Buie were hostesses. Readers were the Rev. Natasha Barnes and the Rev. Larry Weston.
The parents of the bride and groom gave a rehearsal dinner at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Sumter, S.C. on the eve of the wedding.

Following a honeymoon to Destin, Fla., the couple reside in Norcross.
