Emily and Nicholas Williams

Miss Emily Jo Wiley and Mr. Nicholas Watson Williams were united in marriage at 4 p.m. April 12, 2008, at Lakewood Baptist Church in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Wiley of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Williams of Gainesville.

The Rev. Dr. Thomas R. Smiley performed the ceremony. Pianists Mrs. Crystal Clay and Mrs. Vickie Willis, vocalist and organist Mr. Loren Funk, vocalists Mrs. Suzanne Mitchell and Mr. Scott Willis, trumpeter Mr. Mike Hedden and violinist Mrs. Sharon Johns presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her parents. The bride's friend Miss Claire Nicole Paletz of Norcross was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friend Miss Elisa Giovanna Iannilli of Milledgeville, the groom's sister Miss Whitney Shea Williams of Gainesville and the bride's cousin Miss Amy Beth Willis of Murfreesboro, Tenn. The bride's friend Miss Elizabeth Shannon Legg of Gainesville was the flower girl.

The groom's friend Mr. Tyler Andrew Frank of Gainesville was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's friends Mr. Seth Garrett Conner of Gainesville, Mr. Erasmo Obe Sanchez of Lula and the bride's brother Mr. Garrett Wayne Wiley of Gainesville. The bride's friend Mr. Nathan Scott Legg of Gainesville was the ring bearer.

Ushers were Mr. Mack Holland "Dutch" Guest, Mr. Christopher Michael Haynes, Mr. Andrew Thomas Johnson and Mr. William Andrew Willis. Program attendants were Miss Siobhan Mary Lucille Alvarez, Miss Lauren Danelle Carter, Miss Fatima Briseida Macedo and Miss Brooke Allison Windle. Miss Linzie Austin McKown kept the bride's book. Mrs. Carole Cosgrove was the wedding coordinator.

The bride wore a pearl ring given to her by the groom, pearl earrings given to her by her parents and a brooch belonging to her maternal grandmother. She carried a handkerchief belonging to her paternal grandmother.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Rudolph's Restaurant in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at the Chattahoochee Country Club in Gainesville following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico, the couple reside in Pendergrass.
