Krista Lyn West and Justin Blake Bearden were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Nov. 21, 2008, at Dahlonega Presbyterian Church in Dahlonega. The bride is the daughter of Myrna West of Dawsonville. The groom is the son of Joey and Betty Ann Bearden of Dawsonville.

The Rev. Frank Colladay performed the ceremony.

The bride was presented in marriage by her mother. The bride's niece Brianna Bolton of Dawsonville was the flower girl.

The bride's nieces Courtney and Ashleigh Whittington kept the guest book.

The bride carried her maternal grandmother's sixpence that her grandmother carried in her wedding and wore her maternal grandmother's pearl necklace that she wore in her wedding. She also wore her mother's pearl earrings and her cousin Rhoda West's garter.

The bride's sisters Nalita and Salina Copeland and aunt Claudette Williams gave a reception at Dahlonega Presbyterian Church following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Blue Ridge, the couple reside in Dawsonville.
