Miss Mary Katherine Weaver and Mr. Scotty Ryan Hall were united in marriage at 6 p.m. May 16, 2009, at First Baptist Church in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Lee Weaver of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joel Wesley Hall of Gainesville.

The Rev. Bucky Kennedy, the Rev. Bart McMillian and the Rev. Tom Smiley performed the ceremony. Pianist the Rev. Mark Green, organist Mrs. Della Ruth Johnson, Dr. and Mrs. Jack Thurman Griffeth and Mr. Will Griffeth presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's friend Miss Kirkley Ann Griffeth of Gainesville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Miss Haley Elizabeth Bower, Miss Anne Bleakley Hughs and Mrs. Catharan Coker Smiley, all of Gainesville, Miss Kristin Patricia Camp of Columbia, S.C., Miss Mallory Susan Farmer of Augusta, Miss Barbara Claire Moses of Dublin, Mrs. Courtney Saxon Jackson of Bowdon, Miss Leah Virginia Sibley of Marietta and the bride's cousin Miss Alli Elizabeth Strong of Gainesville.

The groom's brother Mr. Wesley Hue Hall of Gainesville was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's friends Mr. Christopher Benjamin Carter, Mr. Lija Lloyd Farr, Mr. Will Dickson Griffeth, Mr. Henry Ray Haynes, Mr. Ryne Hamilton Stone and Mr. John Robert Tumlin, all of Gainesville, and Mr. Brian Hampton Jock of Newnan, and the bride's brothers Mr. Michael Lee Weaver Jr. and Mr. Samuel O'Neal Weaver, both of Gainesville.

Ushers were Mr. Benjamin Charles Booth, Mr. Neal Walter Booth Jr., Mr. Peter Theodosius Gerakitis, Mr. Richard William Gerakitis Jr. and Mr. Adam Mitchell Strong.

Greeters were Mr. and Mrs. Neal Walter Booth, Mr. and Mrs. James Ronald Bracewell Jr., Mr. and Mrs. John Wesley Jacobs III, Mr. and Mrs. William Andrew Maddox, Dr. and Mrs. Randall Jerald Phillips and Mr. Robert Lewis Shipley. Program attendants were Miss McKenzie Lynn Ausband and Miss Dorothy Mobley Moss.

A rehearsal dinner was held at Achasta in Dahlonega on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at their residence in Gainesville following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon in Seaside, Fla., the couple reside in Athens.
