Rachel Marie Taylor and Lee Thomas Bembry were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. on May 1, 2010, at First Presbyterian Church in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of George R. and Mary Jane Taylor of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Sandra L. Bembry of Perry and the late Thomas Bembry.

The Rev. Paul Evans performed the ceremony. A string trio and vocalist Michelle Martin presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her parents. The bride’s sister-in-law Sarah E. Taylor of Stone Mountain was matron of honor. The bride’s friend Jade M. Prickett of Valdosta was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s friend Maggie A. Owenby of Woodstock and the groom’s sister Samantha B. Garcia of Perry.

The groom’s friend Jacob D. Kay of Warner Robins was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s brother Benjamin W. Bembry of Perry, the bride’s brother Ryan Taylor of Stone Mountain and the groom’s friend Josh Portman of Atlanta.
Crevolyn Wiley and Emily Wiley Williams were the wedding coordinators. Lauren Williams and Tara Dominici kept the bride’s book.
The bride carried a six pence that was her maternal grandmother’s and wore a blue topaz and diamond ring given to her by her mother.

The groom’s family gave a rehearsal dinner at the Olive Branch in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

The bride’s parents gave a reception at the Quinlan Visual Arts Center in Gainesville following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, the couple reside in Gainesville.
