Heather Nicole Smith and Steven Robert Bagley were united in marriage at 6 p.m. July 6, 2013, at Chapel in the Woods at Eagle Ranch in Chestnut Mountain. The bride is the daughter of Mark and Teresa Smith of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Jimmy Bagley of Dahlonega and Robbie Bagley of Gainesville.

The Rev. David Smith performed the ceremony. Organist Judy Morris and soloist Ashley Garcia presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her parents. The bride’s sister Tiffany Smith of Gainesville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s friends Laura Gazaway of Flowery Branch, Jessica Rylee of Commerce, Paige Palmer of Gainesville, and Amanda Foster of Lavonia. The bride’s family friend Eva Shoaf of Gainesville was a junior bridesmaid. The bride’s family friend Bella Shoaf of Gainesville was the flower girl.

The groom’s friends Brandon Brown of Flowery Branch and Josh Troutman of Lawrenceville both served as best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s friends Lloyd Herford of Oakwood and Johnny Lee Klugh of Commerce and the bride’s cousin Michael Wheeler of Commerce. The bride’s cousin Colby Mitchell of Dacula was a junior groomsman. Brantley Skinner of Gainesville, son of the bride’s friend, was the ring bearer.

Ruby Corn was the wedding coordinator. Britney Mitchell, Kasey Wheeler and Amber Mitchell kept the bride’s book.

The bride carried her papa’s wedding band around her bouquet in his memory.

The groom’s father gave a rehearsal dinner at the pavilion at Eagle Ranch in Chestnut Mountain on the eve of the wedding.

The bride’s parents gave a reception at the lodge at Eagle Ranch in Chestnut Mountain following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Riviera Maya in Mexico, the couple reside in Flowery Branch.
