‘Chipper’ and Cara Cronia

Cara Ansley Reece and Albert “Chipper” Delmas Cronia V were united in marriage at 5 p.m. April 25, 2015, at Sky Lake in Sautee Nacoochee. The bride is the daughter of Barry and Pamela Reece of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Paula and Robin Sawyer of Gainesville, and the late Albert “Chip” Delmas Cronia IV.

Pastor Bill Coates performed the ceremony. Pianist and hammered dulcimer player Larry Barker presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride’s sister Courtney Reece of Charleston, S.C., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s sister Cayla Reece of Gainesville, the bride’s friends Hayley Crowder of Beaufort, S.C., Tanya Howington of Gainesville, Dayna Agnew of Gainesville, and Amanda Brock of Gainesville, and the groom’s cousin Evelyn Murray of Gainesville. The groom’s cousins Harper Irvin, Kate Irvin and Emma Hogan, all of Gainesville, were the flower girls.

The groom’s brother Murray Cronia of Gainesville was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s friends Cliff Martin of Gainesville, Trey Kemp of Gainesville, Jordan Little of Gainesville, and Jeffrey Agnew of Gainesville, the bride’s brother Corey Reece of Gainesville, and the groom’s cousin Cory Helmuth of Gainesville. The groom’s cousin Luke Helmuth of Gainesville was the ring bearer.

Helen Hodge Fuller was the wedding coordinator.

The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Unicoi State Park in Helen on the eve of the wedding.

The bride’s parents gave a reception at Sky Lake in Sautee Nacoochee following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to St. Lucia, the couple reside in Hendersonville, Tenn.
