Amanda Christine Newberry and Carl Michael Wilson were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Aug. 14, 2010, at the DeNormandy House in Helen. The bride is the daughter of Ben and Brenda Newberry of Cleveland. The groom is the son of Ed and Renee Wilson of Lula.

The Rev. Dwayne Ryals performed the ceremony. Sterling Jackson presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's friend Brittney Irelan of Gainesville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Alyssa Watson and Ashley Harkins, both of Lula, and Brittany Pursley and Cayla Hammond, both of Gainesville. The groom's cousin Maura Catey Ostrander of Lula was the flower girl.

The groom's friend Joshua Ryals of Lula was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's cousin Drew Reed, the groom's father and the groom's friends Ric Holmberg and Matt Bonds, all of Lula. The groom's cousin James Reed of Lula was the ring bearer.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at the DeNormandy House in Helen on the eve of the wedding.

The couple gave a reception at the DeNormandy House in Helen following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Ocho Rios, Jamaica the couple reside in Lula.
