Ashley Elizabeth McAndrew and Matthew Todd Reed Jr. were united in marriage at an outdoor wedding in Gainesville on May 16, 2009.

The bride is the daughter of Don and Rhonda McAndrew of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Todd and Margie Reed of Gainesville.

The Rev. Michael Kirby performed the ceremony. Violinist Megan Ganyard and soloist Heather Reed presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride’s sister Morgan McAndrew of Gainesville was maid of honor. The bride’s sister Lauryn McAndrew of Gainesville was the flower girl.

The groom’s brother Jeremiah Reed of Gainesville was the best man. The bride’s brother Matt McAndrew of Gainesville was the ring bearer. Ushers were Daniel Stevens and Lija Farr.

The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Cornith Baptist Church in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

The bride’s parents gave a reception at the Gainesville Civic Center in Gainesville following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Highlands, N.C., the couple reside in Gainesville.
