Chadwick and Dallas Sage

Dallas Meredith Martin and Chadwick Douglas Sage were united in marriage at 6 p.m. June 1, 2013, at First United Methodist Church in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Jerry Lee Martin and Paige Hawkins Martin of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Craig Darby Sage and Pamela Lee Sage of Gainesville.

The Rev. Terry E. Walton performed the ceremony. Pianist Clint Baughman and soloist Ensley Martin presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride’s cousins Brittni Parks Curtis of Murrayville and Chelsey Parks Potts of Jefferson were matrons of honor. The bride’s sister Darci Weems Martin of Gainesville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s cousin Kayla Marie Holcombe of Gainesville and the bride’s friends Lauren Elizabeth Bellamy of Silver Spring, Md., Kaylan Campanale Bradley of Gainesville, Samantha Grace Cronic of Gainesville, Aramie Nicole Lackey of Atlanta, Erin Marie Nicholson of Gainesville, Kelly Morgan Osborne of Lawrenceville, Olivia Mellon Shockley of Gainesville, Kayleigh Marie Simeone of Atlanta, and Maureen Elizabeth Webb of Memphis, Tenn. The bride’s cousin Kathryn Paige Potts of Jefferson was the flower girl.

The groom’s father was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s brother Kyle Darby Sage of Montgomery, Ala., and the groom’s friends Adam Douglas Baker of Marietta, Steven Anthony Cagle of Atlanta, Gregory Christopher Curtis of Gainesville, Brandon Scott Garcia of Gainesville, Justin Andrew Gonzales of Charleston, S.C., Denver Scott Justus of Gainesville, Nicholas Ray Palmer of Cleveland, Troy Michael Snitker of Lilburn, Aaron Revendy Trammell of Athens, and James Cleveland Wiley of Atlanta. The groom’s friend Hudson Gaines Justus of Gainesville was the ring bearer.

Jane Carpenter was the wedding coordinator. Cole Brooks, Tate Brooks, Carter Little, Clay Martin and Daniel Martin were program attendants. Callen Little and Kesley Little kept the bride’s book.

The bride carried a handkerchief on her bouquet that belonged to her late great-grandmother, Betty Weems. She wore a bracelet belonging to her grandmother, Jean Hawkins, and the wedding band of her late grandmother, Mildred Martin.

The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner at The Elks Lodge in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

The bride’s parents gave a reception at The Cottrell Ranch in Dahlonega following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Playa Del Carmen in Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple reside in Gainesville.
