Amanda Taylor Marcone and Jacob Wesley McKague were united in marriage at 7 p.m. June 26, 2015, at Paradise Cove in Orlando, Fla. The bride is the daughter of Daniel Jeremy and Amy Martin Marcone of Lake Mary, Fla. The groom is the son of Michael and Sherri McKague of Dawsonville.
Timothy Jones performed the ceremony. Vocalist Leah Sabella, violinist Timothy Jones and guitarist Lyssa Melonakos presented a program of wedding music.
The bride was presented in marriage by her father. Leah Sabella of Pittsburgh, Pa., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Allie Marcone of Lake Mary, Fla., Allie Struble of Toccoa, Lyssa Melonakos of San Diego, Calif., Amy Schuman of Lee, N.H., Abigail Mills of Altamonte Springs, Fla., Kate de Funiak of Birmingham, Ala., and Whitney McKague of Dawsonville. The bride’s grandmother Anne Martin of Gainesville and the groom’s grandmother Mary Kelso of Cumming were the flower girls.
Timothy Jones of Quebec, Canada, was the best man. Groomsmen were Dallas Malcone of Lake Mary, Fla., Griffin Sewell of Gainesville, Joshua McKague and Jordan McKague, both of Dawsonville, Patrick Torrey of Dawsonville, Chris Keating of Atlanta, and Josh Ford of Dawsonville. The groom’s cousin Jack Taylor Henson of Gainesville served as the ring bearer. Ushers were Dallas Marcone and Griffin Sewell.
The bride carried a prayer book used in family weddings since 1926.
The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner at 4th Street Bar and Grill in Lake Mary, Fla., on the eve of the wedding.
The bride’s parents hosted a reception at Paradise Cove in Orlando, Fla., following the ceremony.
