Katee LeAra Hulsey and Bryan Watkins Whitfield VI were united in marriage at 3 p.m. July 3, 2010, at Clemons Chapel in Lula. The bride is the daughter of Reggie and Sandra Hulsey of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Bryan and Donna Whitfield of Dahlonega.

The Rev. James Mills performed the ceremony. Violinist Trey Bennett and harpist Elizabeth Bennett presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her parents. The bride's sister Lynn Hulsey of Gainesville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Marci Cooper of Suwanee, Rachel Jamison of Flowery Branch, Melissa Buffington of Gillsville and Cassie Crenshaw of Auburn.

The groom's brother Nathan Whitfield of Dahlonega was the best man. Honorary best man was the groom's brother William Whitfield of Dahlonega. Groomsmen were the groom's friend Max Perethian of Dahlonega, the bride's cousin Billy Hulsey Jr. of Gainesville and the groom's friends Sean Wallace of Cumming and Caleb White of Dahlonega. Ushers were Santiago Contreras, Chris Parker, Chris and Darren Crowe, Shannon Hulsey and Chad Orwig.

Paulette Monaghan was the wedding coordinator. Kristin Cheek, Cheryl McGehee, Rita Mills, Shone Truelove and Andrea Varin assisted.

Abby Ayers and Reesa Crisson kept the bride's book.

The bride carried her grandfather's wedding band in her bouquet and wore her great-grandmother's sapphire ring and pearl and sapphire earrings from the groom's mother.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at The Smith House in Dahlonega on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at Jaemor Farms in Alto following the ceremony.

The couple honeymooned in Negril, Jamaica.
