Sarah Evelyn Hughes and Robert Creston Warner were united in marriage at 6 p.m. June 14, 2008, on St. John, Virgin Islands. The bride is the daughter of Norman and Teresa Hughes of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Robert William and Jacquelin Missy Warner of Jacksonville, Fla.

The Rev. Emmanuel Jaggernauth performed the ceremony.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's sister Hannah Elizabeth Green of Charlotte, N.C., was matron of honor. The groom's sister Brittney Lynn Warner of Jacksonville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Malorie Barnett of Jefferson, Rachel Moore and Lauren Weiss, both of Gainesville, and Blaire Mixon and Jessica Cantrell, both of Atlanta.

The groom's father was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's friends Andrew Stilley of Jacksonville, Brian Lauderdale of Marietta, and Chris Campbell and Dunkin Tonkinson, both of Jacksonville.

The bride wore a garter worn by her maternal grandmother and a necklace that was a gift from the groom's sister. She carried an embroidered handkerchief belonging to her maternal grandmother.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal sunset cruise dinner on the Wyndham catamaran on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at Coco Caribe Villa in Point Rendezvous Bay on St. John, Virgin Islands, following the ceremony.

Following a wedding trip to John's Folly Cottonwood Cottage on St. John, Virgin Islands, the couple reside in Dawsonville.
