Stephanie Beth Ferguson and Tyler Jerry Sims were united in marriage at 2 p.m. June 27, 2009, at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Gillsville. The bride is the daughter of Phil and Happy Ferguson of Gillsville. The groom is the son of Jerry and Nancy Sims of Homer.

The Rev. Scott Waters performed the ceremony. Chris Humphries presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's sister Jennifer Roberts of Duluth was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friend Natalie Lester of Gainesville and the bride's cousins Alyssa Ferguson of Gillsville and Sara Beth Ferguson of Homer. The couple's friend Tori Smith of Lula was the junior bridesmaid. The groom's cousin Addison Maney of Cornelia was the flower girl.

The groom's father was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's friends Russell Sparks, Kyle Duncan, Casey Poole and Chris Porter, all of Homer. The couple's friend T.J. Smith of Lula was the ring bearer.

Diane Porter was the wedding coordinator.

Ashley Buffington kept the bride's book.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Pine Grove Baptist Church on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at Midway United Methodist Church in Gillsville following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Destin, Fla., the couple reside in Gillsville.
