Miss Bridget Anne Fagan and Mr. Jason Newman Smith were united in marriage at 5 p.m. March 27, 2009, in the Florentine Gardens, Ritz Carlton Resort in Henderson, Nev. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas W. Fagan Jr. of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Mr. Milton K. Smith and Mrs. Victoria Smith Watson, both of Gainesville.

The Rev. Peter Billiterri performed the ceremony. A string trio presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's friend Mrs. Melissa Ann Davis of Smyrna was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Mrs. Jamie Shepard Hamm of Wilmington, N.C., Mrs. Katie McCauley Fisher of Boston, Miss Noelle Lee Travis of Marietta, Miss Emily Teresa Olson of Dana Poin, Calif., and the groom's sisters Mrs. Leslie Smith Cooley and Ms. Meagan Lynn Smith, both of Gainesville.

The groom's brother Mr. Milton Brannon Smith of Gainesville was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's brother-in-law Mr. Dallas Carter Cooley of Gainesville, and the groom's friends Mr. Parker Griffin Blanchard, Mr. Thomas Hayden Blanchard and Mr. John Stephen Haynes, all of Atlanta. The groom's niece Miss Madison Smith of Gainesville was the program attendant.

A rehearsal dinner was held in the Tuscany Room at the Ritz Carlton Resort on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception in the Ponte Vecchio Room at the Ritz Carlton Resort following the ceremony.

The couple are planning a honeymoon to Italy. They reside in Lawrenceville.
