Michael and Jodie Guin

Jodie Megan Driggers and Michael Glenn Guin Jr. were united in marriage at 5 p.m. June 20, 2009, at Lake Lanier Islands in Buford. The bride is the daughter of the late Jody and Alicia Wynn Driggers. The groom is the son of Eddie and Kathy Maddox Sr. of Lothair and Michael Guin Sr. of Eatonton.

The Rev. Ray Wood performed the ceremony. Bobby Elliot presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her brother Matt Driggers of Tarrytown. The bride's sister-in-law Ashley Driggers of Tarrytown was matron of honor. The bride's cousin Jenni Ely of Gainesville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Kelli and Lindsey Koon, both of Soperton, and the bride's cousins Katlin and Kylie Wynn, both of Garden City. The bride's niece Aidyn Driggers of Tarrytown was the flower girl.

The groom's father was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's friends Bill Avant of Seneca, S.C., Tommy McElroy and John Baker, both of Maysville, and Pete Jackson of Anderson, S.C., and the groom's brother Eddie Maddx Jr. of Lothair. The bride's nephew Cash Driggers of Tarrytown was the ring bearer.

Celita Davis-Fritch was the wedding coordinator. Kimberly Baker kept the bride's book.

The bride carried her parent's wedding rings tied in her bouquet. Doves were released in memory of her parents.

The bride and groom gave a rehearsal dinner on the eve of the wedding and a reception at Lake Lanier Islands following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple reside in Oakwood.
