Tabitha Noell Dial and Jacob Edwin Hale were united in marriage at 1 p.m. June 19, 2010, at the Elache Nature Science Center in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Steve and Kim Smith of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Jane Ogletree of Clermont and Burt Hale of Gainesville.
The Rev. Steve Stewart performed the ceremony. Bobby Elliott presented a program of wedding music.
The bride was presented in marriage by her parents. The bride’s sister Shea Williams of Lula was matron of honor. The bride’s sister Brittany Dial of Clermont was maid of honor. The bride’s cousin Kirsten Young of Dawsonville was a bridesmaid. The bride’s niece Skyler Williams of Lula was the flower girl.
The groom’s friend Blake Martin of Gainesville was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s friends Aaron Conner of Gainesville and Bill Rus of Lula. Junior groomsmen were the bride’s sons Chase and Chandler Dial-Watson and the groom’s son Eli Harp, all of Lula. Ushers were Devon Dial, Craig Williams, Jason Hale, Greg Hale and Tyler Hale.Sandy Aikens was the wedding coordinator. Stephanie Cates kept the bride’s book.
The bride wore a pearl necklace and a sorority pin that belonged to her grandmothers.
The couple gave a reception at the Elachee Nature Science Center in Gainesville following the ceremony.
Following a honeymoon to Negril, Jamaica, the couple reside in Lula.
