James and Emily Cripps

Emily Rebecca Burkett and James Matthew Cripps were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Sept. 5, 2010, at The Cool Springs Church in Brentwood, Tenn. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Keith Finch of Austin, Texas and Mr. and Mrs. Charles "Bob" Burkett of Gainesville. The groom is the son of James and Sandra Cripps of Ashland City, Tenn.

The groom's friend the Rev. Chad Jackson performed the ceremony.

The bride was presented in marriage by her mother and father. The bride's sister Sally L. Burkett of Suwanee was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's step-sister Stacy Harrison of Columbia, S.C. and the bride's friend Dana C. Wallace of Pleasant View, Tenn.

Groomsmen were the groom's friends Quinton Horner of Waverly, Tenn., Kevin Wallace of Pleasant View, Justin Barnes of Atlanta and Paul Beightol of Nashville, Tenn.

Marie Bukowski was the wedding coordinator.

The bride wore a 30 year old antique French lace veil borrowed from a friend.

The couple gave a reception at The Cool Springs House in Brentwood following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Curacao in the Caribbean, the couple reside in Pleasant View.
