Team Maggie raises money for women with cancer
Mother, daughter help cancer patients preserve their fertility

After Maggie Davis, left, was diagnosed with breast cancer, her mother, Mary Jones, right, created “Team Maggie” T-shirts for the family to show her their support. Soon after, the family sold the T-shirts to help pay for medical expenses and fertility treatments for Davis, enabling the then 24-year-old woman to have a child. Maggie Davis wanted to do it all. She dreamed of marrying and starting her own family. Life threw a wrench in those plans Dec. 3, 2013, when the 24-year-old Roswell woman was diagnosed with breast cancer.
