On May 14, a wide array of dining options are available to take the stress of cooking off moms in celebration of Mother’s Day. Last Saturday, several foster and adoptive moms even experienced a special brunch of their own as they gathered at Lakewood Baptist Church. Teresa Grimes, minister coordinator for Jochebed’s Hope at Lakewood, explained the event was “truly a gift” to those special mothers.
