Lt. Col. Jason Bryan assumed command at East Fort Bliss, Texas, on Dec. 9.
Bryan is a 16-year Army veteran. His wife is Amy Sloan Bryan, daughter of Clint and Debbie Sloan of Gainesville.
Bryan assumed command from Lt. Col. Paul Craft.
Bryan's previous assignment was at Fort Knox, K.Y., where he worked for Human Resources Command as an assignments officer for the Signal Branch. He is a native of Adel.
