Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Lois A. Land graduated from the U.S. Navy’s Officer Nuclear Power School at Naval Nuclear Power Training Command in Goose Creek, S.C. Land is the daughter of Genette and John Land of Flowery Branch. She is a 2011 graduate of Flowery Branch High School. Nuclear Power School is a rigorous six-month course that trains officer and instructs students in the science and engineering fundamental to the design, operation and maintenance of naval nuclear propulsion plants.
