Students win health occupation contest
Grayson Baker and Michelle Ferguson

Two Future Health Occupation Students of America Health Care Professionals students, (Carnegie level), Grayson Baker and Michelle Ferguson, placed first in the Georgia HOSA Regional Competition.

Michelle placed in Medical Reading. She had to read five of the required books for her competition and completed this over Christmas break.

Grayson placed in CPR/First Aid with the requirements of completing the AHA course and knowing the material.

Students were required to take a proctored, online test covering what they learned. Both will represent East Hall Middle School and move on the state competition in March. This is the first year middle school students have been able to compete.
