On Dec. 9, hundreds of students from Georgia Cyber Academy attended the virtual school’s annual Winter Wonderland event at the Cabbage Patch Babyland General in Cleveland. The event was one of several gatherings across the state, offering an opportunity for GCA students, teachers and families to gather for the holidays and participate in some seasonal activities.
Students competed in a gingerbread house competition. The winners were: first, L. Lloydlee, seventh grade, Blairsville; second, B. and J. Betterton, third and sixth grade, Cleveland; and third, J. Walker, seventh grade, Canton.
Georgia Cyber Academy is a full-time, tuition-free online public school option for Georgia students in grades K through 12.
