GSC honor student Brittany Barron recently had her poetry selected for publication in the 2012 edition of Sanctuary, a literary arts journal of the Southern Regional Honors Council. Barron is the daughter of Jerry and Deborah Barron and granddaughter of Charles and Marjorie Barron. North Hall High School student McCoy Savage has been recognized by the United States Achievement Academy as a student of excellence in mathematics.
