Four Gainesville natives, one Cleveland woman and one Flowery Branch woman were initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, one of the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor societies. Gainesville residents were Shelley Mickels, April Mangum and Leigh Anne Stephens at the University of North Georgia; and Alexa Clay at The University of Mississippi. Jessica Thomas of Cleveland was initiated at University of North Georgia.
