Parkinsons group plants tribute garden
1207GN-TulipPlanting
A Parkinson’s support group, the Lake Country Shakers, planted a tulip tribute garden earlier this year at Don Carter State Park in Gainesville. The garden is to remember those who had Parkinson’s and have passed away. Tulips were selected because the flower represents Parkinson’s disease. The Lake Country Shakers meets twice a month in Gainesville.
