Northeast Georgia students succeed at second annul MathMania competition

Mount Vernon Exploratory School hosted its second annual MathMania competition in spring 2014.

Cargill Foods sponsored the event and donated T-shirts, white boards and markers for each competitor. Following the contest, Cargill awarded first-, second- and third-place winners with a $40, $20 and $10 gift, respectively.

Competitors were from five elementary schools, including Mount Vernon Exploratory School, Chattahoochee Christian Academy, Wauka Mountain Multiple Intelligences Academy, Lanier Elementary School and Sardis Enrichment School. Approximately 225 students participated.
