The Junior Crew of the Lake Lanier Rowing Club presented a $670 check to Good News Clinics Development Director Mary Baxter. On Feb. 15, members of the Junior Crew of the Lake Lanier Rowing Club held an indoor rowing competition, known as erging, inside Lakeshore Mall to raise money for a new rowing shell and to fund patient visits at Good News Clinics. Money raised exceeded the group’s goal of $2,000, allowing it to donate $670 to Good News Clinics. Good News Clinics provide free medical and dental care services and specialty referrals to uninsured Hall County residents who cannot afford health care.
