The Johnson High School Symphonic Band recently performed at the Georgia Music Educators Association Large Group Performance Evaluation and was awarded superior ratings for all of their prepared pieces. The band was adjudicated by current and retired distinguished band directors who graded the ensemble in areas including musicianship, technique, interpretation and style. Coupled with the marching band’s superior ratings, this is the first time Johnson High School students have received superior ratings during a school year.
