The inaugural Hall County Regional Technology Fair was a success with 41 students from three schools competing in 10 select categories. Students from Martin Elementary School, Chestatee Academy and Earhart Edison Exploration Academy at North Hall Middle School vied to win in the following categories: 3D modeling, digital photography, digital video production, game design, mobile apps, multimedia applications, non-animated graphic design, robotics, technology literacy challenge, web internet applications and a programming challenge. They contests were divided into grades: one for fifth- and sixth-graders and the other for seventh- and eighth-graders.
