Britney Vickery and Ivy Hall, both residents of Habersham County, were bestowed Outstanding Georgia Citizen Awards on Jan. 17 during Initials, Inc. Leader Day at the Capitol.

Presented by Secretary of State Brian Kemp with District 10 State Rep. Terry Rogers and District 28 State Rep.Dan Gasaway in attendance, Vickery and Hall were surprised and humbled with such a laudable honor.

Leader Day at the Capitol was part of the Initials, Inc. Annual Leadership Retreat held at the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta, involving more than 65 independent creative leaders and directors from all over the U.S.

"This retreat is an opportunity to celebrate the high-level of talent within our field and build upon the amazing progress our leaders and directors have contributed. Britney and I are grateful for even being considered for this high honor," said Hall.
