Blackshear Place Baptist Church recently opened the doors on the newest addition to the church in South Hall. The new space is called "The Venue," and Blackshear Place Director of Communications Stephen Odum said "it reminds us of all the reasons this building will exist."

Odum says the building will have multiple uses as the church expands including: "A space for Student Ministry growth. God is moving among the young people of Blackshear Place. Each week, hundreds gather in the Middle School, High School, and College departments to worship the Lord Jesus, study His Word, and reach new friends for Christ."

"A space for fellowship and ministry activity. We are always looking for space to host a banquet, conference, or event. The Kidz Theater allows us this flexibility, but The Venue will double our capacity to host such activities."

"And a space for Bible Fellowship expansion. Our Bible Fellowship classes are our primary discipleship, ministry, and fellowship groups; and we are always running out of space. Nine new Bible Fellowship rooms open up growth possibilities into the immediate future."

The church invites anyone interested in attending. For more information, contact the church office at 3428 Atlanta Hwy., Flowery Branch or visit bpbc.com/venue.
